I have joined the Medifast program. It is mindless in that you only have to eat one normal meal a day. The supplements are actually pretty good. They have pre-packaged pouches of high protein low sodium food that you use every 2 1/2 hours or so. 5 prepackaged items then meal at night. Really tastes good. I had their mac and cheese.. yummy. Added one of my veggies to it (half cup broccoli) and it was very filling. The use of the food pouches every 2 1/2 hours really makes your appetite manageable. So far so good. I had their mac and cheese twice, a beef stew and a protein bar (lemon).
Lets see how this goes. I am encouraged!
9 pm- Just got back from Smokey Bones. Had their smoked turkey and broccoli/salad. Under 500 calories. On diet. Awesome! Good start to a good day.
